The Marketing Specialist is responsible for design, strategy, and execution of the verbal and visual messaging, execution and brand alignment across our Foundational Technologies, with a particular focus on Kerry’s Nutritional Beverage platform. Additionally, this role manages the tactical plans that showcase Kerry’s unique value proposition tied to specific accounts. The Marketing Specialist leads the creation of persuasive, compelling messages which are delivered through internal presentations to the company’s executive and senior teams and externally through customer-specific presentations to the customers’ executive/senior leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the marketing champion for Fermented Ingredients & Actives within North America as it relates to the Beverage End User Market.

  • Lead awareness, knowledge and implementation of the Functional Ingredient and Actives (Nutrition technologies marketing strategy plan) technology marketing strategies and plans, and ensure that they are embedded within the Beverage marketing strategies and plans

  • Support Strategic Marketing by helping to develop and execute marketing communication initiatives for assigned global and strategic accounts driven by Kerry’s focus areas, current trends in the marketplace, and Insights contributing to Kerry’s top line growth

  • Willingness and ability to become a subject matter expert for Nutrition in Beverage-awareness of upcoming trends of nutrition in beverage.

  • Ability to develop and execute effective presentations to customers at all levels including senior level marketing and sales professionals.

  • Work with the Commercial Sales team to build marketing-to-marketing relationships with Kerry’s key customers, allowing for a deeper understanding of our customers business and the ability to advise on customer engagements.

  • Using the Market Insight Presentation process to project manage and deliver high quality, trend and insight driven customer centric presentations and events to including trends presentations, technology presentations, etc.

  • Share relevant Beverage End User Market consumer and market insights from diverse primary and secondary research studies to help inform the Nutritional Beverage Group and other technologies innovation pipelines and develop short/long term strategies

  • Collaborate with key Kerry departments to act as the conduit for deliverables with assigned presentation and platform initiatives including Sensory, R&D, Digital & Marketing Insights.

  • Manage budget/costs to plan of assigned businesses (i.e. advertising, trade shows, customer presentations, etc.)

  • Experience/Skills Required for the Role:

  • BS degree in Marketing, Nutrition, or Food Science.

  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in a marketing/sales/nutrition function.

  • Ability to interact with senior leaders within the organization

  • Extensive experience pulling together the story objectively

  • Flexible with ability to adapt to shifting priorities, tight timelines, and ambiguity

  • Execution oriented

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal employees and to work with external customers

  • Strong sense of accountability and independence

  • Proven track record of successful project management

  • Stellar communication skills via multiple forums

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

  • A passion for learning and development and helping to delight and nourish consumers with food and beverages

  • Leadership, and facilitation skills

  • Proven track record of creative project management and execution

  • Must be able to travel 20% as needed
