Kerry Global Account Director - Seattle, WA (Seattle, WA, US, 98124) in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities:

The Global Account Executive has full accountability for coordinating and directing the global growth strategy with the assigned customer within Kerry's Foodservice business. Responsibilities include:

  • Development, implementation and execution of the Global Foodservice strategy for the assigned customer in conjunction with the various Kerry Regional management teams.

  • Working with the Regional Management Teams, develop detailed five-year category plans

  • Ensure total global internal alignment to the category plans within Kerry and the customer.

  • Strengthen and manage the relationship at senior level with the customer’s key stakeholders including global procurement, RDA and any other appropriate business functions to leverage best results

  • Create a Global ‘Plan to Win’ program for the customer, and support and ensure consistent best practice standards for regional/country ‘Plan To Win’ programs.

  • Provide and communicate market and competitor intelligence in a timely manner with a significant focus on Innovation and the alignment with Kerry Taste & Nutrition Strategy.

  • Identify appropriate potential acquisition targets in relevant businesses and markets globally, as part of the strategy to drive growth.

  • Support the preparation of regional business cases for any additional resources required to drive the expansion.

Execution of the Global Customer Plan

  • Co-ordinate global projects and initiatives, working with clearly identified and responsible regional project leads.

  • Actively and proactively support the development of the global sales pipeline, via the regions, through global connectivity and insight.

  • Creating and activating both short and longer-term account strategy aligned to delivering the defined business strategies.

Team Building & Development

  • Creating a positive culture that delivers financial and business targets.

  • Support in the development of a best in class customer team including regular coaching and feedback, driving best practice.

  • Feed into the development of individual and team capability plans.

  • Drive accountability for optimum allocation of resources for the account to deliver the commercial performance.

  • Budgets

  • Oversee the development, implementation and achievement of annual budgets related to growth with the customer. Monitor any variances and report on corrective actions necessary.

  • Skills -

  • Requires strong communication skills including verbal and written. Exhibits enthusiasm, self-motivation, and strong initiative, with ability to be a team player. Concise and timely communications both internally and externally. Able to integrate written and verbal skills into the sales process. Strong presentation skills. Effectively promote Kerry within the foodservice community. Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.

  • Education -

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Food Science with emphasis in Business or Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent.

Experience –

Minimum 10 years’ experience successfully managing Top 100 Chain Customers and managing teams.

Global Company and experience a MUST

Travel –

Ability to travel domestically and international up to 25%.

Support key decisions on total customer investment.
