About the role:

Our Rhinelander, WI site is a leading supplier of natural smoke flavors and authentic natural savory grill flavors, serving meat, culinary and food industry markets worldwide. The Production Group Leader is fundamental to our team. You’ll report to the Director of Operations and be overseeing the overall plant operations, with up to 10 direct reports and be able to develop a quality team that provide flavor enhancement products for our customers. The schedule for this role is 2nd shift 6pm-6am 4 days on / 4 days off.

What you'll do:

The Production Group Leader is fundamental to our team. You’ll oversee the production team, with up to 15 direct reports and develop a quality team that provides flavor enhancement products for our customers.

You’ll collaborate with other teams, coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control departments to achieve sustained and improved efficiencies.

What you'll need to be successful:

•High school diploma or equivalent •College degree in food science or engineering is preferred, but not required •Demonstrated success assessing, developing, and retaining top talent •Minimum 2 years' experience leading a team and familiarity with GMP, quality and sanitation standards for food manufacturing •Experience implementing Continuous Improvement projects •Proven ability to drive process improvements, adhere to budgets, and maintain regulatory compliance •Strong computer aptitude with MS Word and Excel - SAP experience is beneficial but not required
