About the role:
Our Norwich, NY location is unique when it comes to to Kerry, which is typically known to produce food and beverage items. This site is responsible for biofunctional and bio-science ingredients and products for Kerry customers and brands. The Production Supervisor role directs and coordinates all the activities necessary for production of these products. The schedule for this role is 3rd shift 11:30pm-7:30am, with some flexibility needed for successful shift changeover.
What you'll do:
The Production Supervisor is fundamental to our team. You’ll oversee the production team, with up to 15 direct reports and develop a quality team that provides flavor enhancement products for our customers. This shift typically has limited management on site, and requires the ideal candidate to have a strong leadership background, and the ability to take initiative and make decisions in a timely manner.

You’ll collaborate with other teams, coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control departments to achieve sustained and improved efficiencies. This role also requires attention to detail while completing daily tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and conducting regular visual line checks to insure proper dating, labeling, and packaging.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
•A four year degree in Engineering, Science or Business, or lesser degree with minimum 5 years Production Supervision experience will be considered •Experience with spray dry equipment or powder processing is highly preferred in order to be successful in this role •Proven ability to develop and retain top talent, drive process improvement while adhering to budget •Proven ability to lead with the following key strengths: Critical Thinking, Continuous Cost Focus, Technical Expertise, Influence and Delivery of Sustainable Results
