About the role:
The Melrose Park, Illinois site is within our meat division and produces breadking and batters for our Kerry customers and Brands. This role is 2nd shift. The Production Supervisor role directs and coordinates all the activities necessary with production of these products.
What you'll do:
The Production Supervisor is fundamental to our team. You’ll oversee the production team, with up to 20 direct reports, and up to 40 team members across departments and shifts. This is a great opportunity to develop a quality team that provides flavor enhancement products for our customers.

You’ll collaborate with other teams, coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control departments to achieve sustained and improved efficiencies.
We're looking for someone who shares our belief in "Safety First, Quality Always" for our employees, products, and customers, and will ensure all direct reports and employees uphold our quality and food safety procedures and policies, while meeting KPI's and goals. In addition, this role is also responsible for daily tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and conducting regular visual line checks to insure proper dating, labeling, and packaging.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
•High school diploma or equivalent •College degree in food science or engineering is preferred, but not required •Experience leading a team and familiarity with GMP, quality and sanitation standards for food manufacturing •Experience implementing Continuous Improvement projects •Strong computer aptitude, including Outlook, Word and Excel. SAP experience a plus!
