About the role

Kerrys aspiration is to be our customers most valued partner, creating a world of sustainable nutrition. As a Sustainability Operations Lead, you will act as an accelerator to increase engagement with stakeholders, progress towardsoperations sustainability goalsand realize success.Reporting to the regional Director of Sustainability to drive reductions in carbon, energy, and water to meet the organizations 2030 sustainability goals across better for the planet. Embedding a sustainable operations mindset and building capability across Kerrys network of manufacturing locations.

What will you do?

  • Partners and collaborates with Integrated Operations Leadership (Manufacturing, Engineering, & QSHE) to ensure manufacturing sites have the capabilities and programs to deliver environmental sustainability targets.

  • Develop suite of initiatives, target adoption rates and lead deployment across Kerrys manufacturing network.

  • Provide technical process expertise to advise/consult on environmental sustainability and provide governance to the adoption/implementation of best practice policies, procedures and standards that support continuous improvement.

  • Partner with site leadership to conduct maturity assessments to Kerrys Performance Management System and gap assessment to ISO50001 Energy Management System for possible future implementation.

  • Partner with Finance to tag, track and report on Sustainability impact across the regional opportunity pipeline.

  • Collaborates on regional strategy to continuously improve environmental sustainability across the manufacturing sites.

  • Champions and promotes long-term sustainability best practices.

  • Identify, partner and embed Sustainability champions within Kerrys manufacturing network.

  • Remain fully flexible and open to change to meet business requirements and demands.

  • Role model Kerry values.

What will you need to be successful?

  • 5+ years in manufacturing managing/optimizing/maintaining Utility Systemspreferable in the food & beverage industry.

  • Degree in engineering (preferred), environmental sciences, or equivalent experience.

  • A strong understanding of energy, steam, air, refrigeration and/or water system designs.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to determine actionable projects that achieve results.

  • Strong knowledge in energy and/or water mass balance creation

  • Demonstrated experience in managing ISO 50001 Energy Management System (preferred)

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects to meet overarching objectives

  • Must be able to travel 60-70% of the time

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $105,000 to $159,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
